Surcharge Policy
Where applicable some of our products will be subjected to a surcharge / deposit, please check your invoice to see if this applies to you.
The surcharge is refundable providing that the following conditions are met.
- Old units should be returned within 90 days
- Old units should have suffered no more than the normal wear and tear
- Surcharges may only be refunded in part when the unit has abnormal wear i.e damaged threads and corrosion.
- Corrosion may render the old unit beyond repair; therefore the surcharge will not be refunded.
Most old units are suitable for a surcharge refund. Please include the original invoice number when returning parts.
Spheres
Spheres are not always suitable for reconditioning; this is due to the internal damage caused when the sphere is run “flat” this will cause damage to the diaphragm inside, rending the sphere useless. Spheres that have removed with chisels may not be suitable for reconditioning. Older “split type” spheres can be fitted with new diaphragms; theses spheres can nearly always be conditioned.
